History
  • In 2007, Ilex divests itself of its holding in Resa to concentrate on its software development strategy in France and develop its presence internationally. Accent is placed on development of packaged solutions addressing business issues. The first identity management packaged solution, Meibo People Pack, sees the light of day. It directly satisfies the needs of national administrations who find themselves allocated personnel due to decentralisation. Other sectors of activity equally find themselves seduced by Meibo People Pack.

Taking into account the issues linked to new technologies and new contexts of utilisation, from 2000 Ilex centres its strategy on security, access control and identity management. Ilex then creates its first products: Sign&go (access control and SSO), Meibo (identity management and directory content management solution) and affirms itself as an expert developer of secured systems by developing components for the dematerialisation of exchanges (digital certificate management for France Telecom), PKI management infrastructure and smartcard drivers for the GIP-CPS (institutional in the world of healthcare) and the GIE Sesam Vitale.

From 1997, conscious of the veritable potential of the Web, Ilex specialises in the new technologies and launches the Intranex suite, Web to Host access portal with over 300,000 licenses sold (France Telecom, Air France, Bank of France…).

In 1995, its second subsidiary (established in New York) confirms Ilex’s entry to the world of new technology and the internet with the signing of customers such as NASDAQ, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs or TIAA-CREF.

In 1991, Ilex creates Resa, its first subsidiary, which develops and distributes a comprehensive suite of solutions dedicated to the world of airport management.

Ilex’s creation in 1989 was born out of the desire of Laurent Gautier and René Lagrèze to construct a product and service offering founded on technical expertise in order to resolve large organisations’ issues of connectivity and security.
